Service Description
An in-depth introductory workshop lasting around 3-5 hours. You will be learning to safely cut and assemble glass as well as exploring techniques using frits and enamels to make your own fused glass creation. Your work is then fired and framed ready for you to proudly display on your wall at home. With our knowledge and experience we will help guide you with your design and bring your ideas to life. Suitable for total beginners or anyone with some experience and is available to everyone aged 15 upwards* .
Cancellation Policy
Firstly, thank you so very much for deciding to make some glass work with me. I’m very much looking forward to seeing what you create! Please find below details about the day and a few boring safety details. What to Bring : It is a good idea to have some idea of what you would like make, so bringing along some pictures ,printouts etc can help us get you started much faster. The glass piece you will be making is roughly 6 inches square but you don’t have to make a square piece ie a flower can be just the shape of the flower on its own. Safety: Please be aware that the class will be held in a working studio and as such there will be glass with sharp edges under some counters and other hazards to be aware of. As you will be working with glass please make sure you wear closed shoes, anyone in flip-flops or sandals will not be allowed to do the workshop. Suitable for aged 15 upwards but under 18’s will need to be accompanied by an adult as this is a working studio and as such there may be some hazards around and under counters. No food is to be consumed in the studios, You may bring a drink as long as it has a lid on the container. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds or transfers on any of our workshops that are cancelled by the attendee within 7 days of the date of the workshop, apart from if the workshop has been cancelled by “Dreya Glass”.
